Snowjoggers Boots are made and distributed by a Company called 'Rubber Ducks' in fact the company is aiming re-brand all Swowjoggers with this new name. The branding on the side of all Snowjoggers boots for the coming season is a Rubber Duck logo like the one above but a gold applique on the side of the boots.
Rubber Duck Snowjoggers are loved by celebrities world wide with a long list of them seen out and about wearing these iconic boots! This season sees Fearne Cotton wearing them for Very but we have our very own that you can buy online. But what is so great about Snowjoggers? why have they taken hold and what the hell are they?
Snowjoggers are essentially trainers which have been made in to boots, a trainer boot. This means that the sole is traditional trainer design with a rubber outsole and eva midsole.
They were invented by a Danish Guy called Elk who remisniscing about his recent trip to Greenland he came up with an idea for the perfect winter boot - Snowjoggers was born and he flew off to China to get them made, importing just 600 pairs in to his native Denmark. He begged shops to buy them and eventually word got round and the brand took off.
The Boots took a while to get going, this was 2005! but now they are sold all over the world and have become something of a phenomenon. Last year when the snow came there were just not enough snowjoggers around so the company has made loads more this year to cope with the expected demand. The boots have a special fleece lining to keep your feet toasty warm even in the deepest of snow and are made from waterproofed materials to keep them dry.
